Abstract

CONSTITUTION: This oxygen generating solid agent is prepared by adding an adequate amt. of Ti or low carbon ferroalloy as a reducing agent to perchlorate as a principal component and further adding catalyst MnO2 and asbestos or glass fiber as a heat insulating excipient. This solid agent is easy to handle, can be stored for a long term, and can successively generate high purity oxygen gas. The principal component and the other components are finely pulverized and mixed as follows: the principal component about 65W85wt%, the reducing agent and the catalyst about 5W25wt% and the excipient about 2W8wt%.
