CONSTITUTION:Differential signal (c) obtained by subtracting unsharp signal (b) from sharp signal (a) contains necessary contour line part A and flat part B. Then proper threshold level E is set to waveform C, and the parts under + or -DELTAF is deleted at the both plus and minus parts in order to make pass only the amplitude part exceeding + or -DELTAF. With addition of differential signal wave (d) the amplitude of which is controlled down to the necessary level to signal (a), picture signald (e) can be obtained with the flat part noise kept as original N and only the contour part emphasized.
