Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the transmission distortion, by passing through the FM signal via the circuit producing the waveform distortion in opposite phase to the intermediate frequency filter after the intermediate frequency filter and limiter circuit. CONSTITUTION:The FM signal from the antenna 1 is fed to the front end 2 and the intermediate frequency signal is fed to the limiter 4 via the intermediate frequency filter 3 with the output. The output of the limiter 4 is fed to the FM detection circuit 7 via the amplitude distortion correction circuit 5 and the limiter 6. The amplitude-frequency characteristics of the amplitude distortion correction circuit 5 are at opposite phase to the distortion produced from the filter 3 and at the same level distortion.
