Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a size and facilitate the setting of an output voltage, by once changing low-frequency AC power into high-frequency AC power. CONSTITUTION:The output of a rectifier 2 is changed into a high-frequency AC voltage by an inverter 3 so that rectifed voltages of inverse polarity to each other are obtained by rectifier circuits 14, 15. Switches 16, 17 are closed in each half cycle of low-fequency AC power 1 so that a high-frequency pulsating voltage appears between the output terminals of an output unit 9. The pulsating voltage is smoothed by a low frequency converter 31 so that the voltage is changed into low-frequency AC power.
