Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the necessary handlings attended with transportation work of 3 phase tap changing transformer by a method wherein each phase tap winding connected respectively to each main winding is divided into two groups each containing two outside phase windings and one center phase winding, and each group is connected respectively to separate tap changer arranged at the tank edge. CONSTITUTION:The core leg 11, three windings 4 of outer phase U, W and center phase V, a pair of each phase tap changer 5, 5A, are put in a case consisted of a tank 1 and a cover 2. The high-tension winding 9 of each phase winding 4 is divided to up and down in parallel, and a pair of tap winding 10, 10A is connected to it in series. The circuit connecting the high-tension winding and the tap winding is partially made to be the parallel circuit, and the current fLow equally to the tap changer 5, 5A. Therefor the breaking capacity can be maintained even by this construction, and the tap lead wire 12-17 can easily be led out from the side yoke to aside or to a space between the under side face of yoke and the tank 1. By this way, even a large capacity transformer such as 450-500MVA can be performed wiring within the transportation limit.
