Abstract

PURPOSE: Cement of admixture is added to soil, the soil lumps are crushed into particles of ball structure, thus converting surplus soil or sewege to landfiller or soil suitably used in civil engineering, agriculture and horticulture.
CONSTITUTION: Cement or cement together with admixture is added to a soil with adjusted composition before or under agitation. The agitation for 1W5min crushes the soil to particles with ball structure. The mixing and kneading are effected preferably by use of a Vortex mixer having agitation mechanism by rotation and revolution. The resulting treated soil has particle sizes of continuous distribution and 40W 50% has ball structure of 1W5mm diameter. These particles has high water permeation and resist the collapse when wetted and swollen by rain falling to prevent the change into mud. The admixture of cement is very effective when calcium chloride as a hygroscopic and coagulation accelerating agent and lignin-sulfonate salt as a dispersant are employed.
