PURPOSE:To make it possible to set independently threshold points at which input and output gains are changed over, by providing a 2nd signal current source connected to a 1st signal current source with an input-output terminal. CONSTITUTION:The emitter of transistor TRQ1, i.e., a 1st signal current source with an input-output terminal, is connected to power supply Vcc via resistance R1, and its collector is grounded via resistance R2 and 2nd signal current source I01. Then, the emitter of TRQ2 is connected to the connection point between resistance R2 and current source I01, its collector is connected to power supply Vcc, and its base is applied with voltage VB. In the formation of this circuit, the threshold point at the input side is determined by current I01 and that on the output side depends upon current I01 and voltage VB. The input and output threshold values can therefore be set to desired values independently.
