Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct mounting position errors in a tool and accurately detect the relative positions of a work and the tool, by detecting the pivotal rotation of tool- clamping shafts with a potentiometer. CONSTITUTION:Taper pins 8a, 8b are oscillated via a bush 9 in accordance with the oscillations of an air grinder 10 adapted to actuate a tool 11 which is in contact with a work. The oscillations of the taper pins 8a, 8b are detected by a potentiometer 12 and converted into a voltage signal. This voltage signal is input into a comparator so as to detect angle variation in the tool 11 with respect to fingers 4a, 4b.
