Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve high-precision curved-surface work securely by giving a warning of abnormality when variation in operated inclination exceeds a set value, and thus stopping the work on the basis of faulty measurement data as it is. CONSTITUTION:From output signals from detectors 20-22, the moving extents of a measuring head 10 in respective axial direction are detected to detect the current position of the tip contact surface of a measurer 11 at parts 25-27, and the position is displayed on a display device 28 as the position of the measured surface Ma of a model Ma. In this case, the extent of variation in inclination in the scanning direction of a model surface Ma is operated by an arithmetic device 30, and if the operated extend of variation shows some abnormal measurement point exceeding a set value, a warning is sent to display the measurement point on the CRT screen of a console panel 35.
