Abstract

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a reactor with less ripple factor by feeding power with a plurality of rectifiers connected in parallel to common loads. CONSTITUTION:A transformer 14 is connected to a 3-phase AC power source 4 through a breaker and a transformer 3. The transformer 14 is connected to rectifiers 15-1 and 15-2 each for 3-phase full-wave rectification, which are connected to each other through an intermediate tap 16a of the current balancer 16 to feed a load current to the tap 16a separately. Therefore, both the rectifiers feed current to the same load, for example, in a manner of dividing the load current into two whereby the load of each rectifier is reduced. Thus, the ripple is lowered proportionately. In addition, at the balancing point 16a each firing phase of the rectifier is controlled so that combined DC current can be obtained through overlapping of the ripple thereof varied in the phase. Thus, the ripple factor can be reduced.
