Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate a manufacturing process and house the connected portions of segments and rotor terminals in the cavity of a rotor, by using a rotary shaft and an insulating disc which are specially worked. CONSTITUTION:A recess 2 for providing an engaged part in a D-cut form is made on a rotary shaft 1. A projection 3b is provided on a side 3a of an insulating disc 3 having an outside diameter almost equal to the inside diameter of a rotor 9 and serves to attain concentricity. A through hole 4 is provided in the center of the disc 3. A recess 5 is provided on the top 6 of the disc 3 around the through hole 4 and has such a size that the connected portions of segments 13 and terminals 10 of the rotor 9 can be housed in the recess 5. A projection 7 is provided around the through hole 4. Another projection 8 is provided in the hole 4 and has a shape appropriate to be fitted in the recess 2 of the shaft 1. This results in greatly facilitating a manufacturing process.
