Abstract

PURPOSE:To smooth the sliding contact of a commutator plate with brushed and improve the wear resistance and lifetime of the plate, by providing an oil storage cylinder near the commutator plate and providing an oil send-out portion which extends from the end of the cylinder to the surface of the commutator plate. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 2 extends through the center of a core 1 made of a plurality of sheets laminated with one another. A coil 3 is provided around the core 1. An oil storage cylinder 4, which is made of synthetic resin such as nylon and is opened in a part, is fitted in the gap between the core 1 and a commutator plate 5. A shaft hole is provided in the center of the bottom of the cylinder 4. A bushing 6 made of nylon resin or the like is fitted so that the bushing extends through the center of the commutator plate 5 and an oil send-out portion 6a is provided on the peripheral surface of the bushing. This results in smoothing the sliding contact of the commutator plate with the brushes, greatly improving the performance of the plate and lengthening its lifetime.
