Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate handling in work and reduce the number of work steps, by inserting and fixing a U-shaped insulated wire in a slot provided in a stator core and another slot near the former and by integrally fixing the insulated wire and lead wires and reinforcing the lead wires with additional wires. CONSTITUTION:A U-shaped insulated wire 10 such as an enameled copper wire is inserted and fixed in a slot insulator 2 for a slot for picking out an end of a winding 3 provided around a stator core 1 and in another slot insulator 2 for another slot near the former slot. One leg of the U-shaped insulated wire 10 is picked out together with the winding end 5 of a lead wire extending out of the slot insulator 2. The lead wire is inserted together with both the legs of the insulated wire 10 into an insulating tube 11. Since the winding end 5 is led out of the insulator 2 and reinforced with the insulated wire 10, the winding end 5 is thoroughly protected from an external force such as a tensile force or a bending force. This results in facilitating handling in work and reducing the number of work steps.
