CONSTITUTION: This copper alloy suitable for use as an electrode material for discharge working consists of 0.1W0.3, exp. 0.5W2 or 1wt% of Zr, 0W3, exp. 0.5W 1.5wt% of Zn and the balance Cu. This Zr-bronze electrode is more easily cut than pure copper and low-brass, and using this electrode more stable discharge working can be accomplished as compared to discharge working using pure copper or low- brass.
