Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a small size for the facsimile device as a whole by storing both the transmission and reception parts into the unified structure body. CONSTITUTION:The transmission part includes table 1 the upper part of which holds and guides horizontally original 2 to be transmitted, roller 9 which carries the original on the table into the horizontal linear direction plus means 11, 14 and 15 which read the original under carriage at the lower part of the table. On the other hand, the reception part adjacent to the transmission part contains roll-type recording material 5 attached so that its central axis may come toward the carrying direction of original 2, head 32 which records the picture information to material 5 in accordance with the reception signal, and roller 34 which carries out material 5 possessing the record image to the direction vartical to the carrying direction of original 2. Thus both the transmission and reception parts are stored into the unified structure body.
