Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize operation and to improve the accuracy of the output voltage at the same time, by connecting a series circuit of a capacitor and a resistor between the secondary winding terminal of a transformer and the control terminal of the switching element on the primary side.
CONSTITUTION: A series circuit of a capacitor Cf and a resistor Rf is connected between the base at a point A of a transistor Q2 on the primary side and the cathode at a point B of a diode D1 on the secondary side. A diode DB is connected so that its forward direction coincides with the direction from the point A to the positive-power-supply line to the primary side. At the time when the transistor Q2 is turned OFF from ON, the portion between the base and emitter of the transistor Q2 is reversely biased. When the transistor Q2 is turned ON from OFF, the portion between the base and emitter of the transistor Q2 is forward biased. Thus, the speeds of turning ON and OFF the transistor Q2 are improved, respectively.
