PURPOSE:To conveyor whose starting and stopping are made smooth by providing a pair of the 2nd arms on both sides of the 1st arm supporting a carriage and oscillating the 2nd arms by a crank mechanism and at the same time oscillating the 1st arm. CONSTITUTION:When a crank mechanism 16 is rotated by a drive motor 17, its motion is transmitted to the 2nd arms 2 by way of a connecting rod 15, sector gears 13 and gears 8, causing the respective arms 2 to oscillate about a shaft 7. In this case, the 2nd arms oscillate 180 deg. with respect to the half cycle of the crank mechanism 16 and at the same time the 1st arm also moves from the state that it is aligned in one way in the lengthwise direction to the state that it is aligned in the opposite direction about an oscillating shaft 9. The pin 4 at its bottom end makes linear motion from one end to the other.
