Abstract

PURPOSE: To delay injection of air fuel mixture adequetly and provide the same intervals of injection as those of pressure variations in a combustion chamber by blasting high pressure fuel into one side of a nest of finely crowded channels and out of the other side.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel highly pressurized travels a fuel flow manifold 9 in a body 5 and a center manifold 8 in an injection tip 6 and is blasted into a combustion chamber 7. The fuel is turned into mist in a fining layer 11 placed most internally in the injection tip 6. The fine mist of fuel is mixed with fefluent gas from the combustion chamber 7 in a mixing layer 12 located intermediately in the injection tip 6 and then injected into the combustion chamber 7 through the most external crowded- channel nest 13 with an adequet time lag depending on a pressure in the combustion chamber 7. One channel in said crowded nest 13 close to the fuel supply face is approximately up to 1W5μm in an average diameter and 1W4mm in length. The time lag from a fluctuation in pressure is under 100ms per a pressure difference 1kg/cm2 between fuel and air in the combustion chamber.
