PURPOSE:To control a beam current in such a manner as to be uniformly driven into a wafer of processing the beam current, by changing a relatively moving speed between the center of a disk and the beam position in accordance with a change of the beam current value detected from the processed disk side. CONSTITUTION:A beam current I taken out from a rotary disk 9 by the beam current detecting circuit and a preset value K from beam current setting switch 13 are calculated in an arithmetic circuit 21 to obtain a result of A=KI, being input to an arithmetic circuit 22. While a distance R, from the rotating center to the center of gravity of the beam current, detected by an up and down feed position linear encoder 23 is input to the arithmetic circuit 22 through a counter 24, calculating a result of VR=A/R. This value VR is given to a pulse motor 19 through a converter 25 and a pulse motor drive circuit 26, thus controlling a speed of up and down feeding of the rotating disk.
