Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to make a device small-size with a simple constitution, by mounting a stylus on one extension of links constituting a parallel crank mechansim and by providing a material, which can move in x and y directions, on the line passing through the stylus.
CONSTITUTION: Links 11W14 are pivotally fixed by linkage parts A to D respectively and constitute a parallel crank mechanism. Stylus 8 is mounted on one point S of the extension part of link 11, and linkage part D is pivotally fixed by slider 4 and is pivotally fixed by slider 7 at point E where the line connecting point S and linkage part D intersects the extension part of link 12. Slider 7 is linked with guide rail 6 and can move only in the X-axis direction, and slider 7 is linked with guide rail 6 and is so restricted that slider 7 can move only in the Y-axis direction. The moving position of stylus 8 can be read by X and Y coordiantes readers 5 and 7. Thus, the device can be made small-size and becomes easy to produce.
