Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a miniature, lightweight and low-priced transformer with excellent focus tranking characteristics by obtaining a focus voltage from an output part by providing an auxiliary focusing winding to the cathode of a diode connected to a halfway point of a high-tension coil. CONSTITUTION:In addition to 2nd high-tension coil 3-2, one terminal of auxiliary focus winding 7 is connected to lead wire C, the cathode of diode 4-1, and to the other terminal N', focus resistance 5-4 and 5-5 are connected so as to obtain focus voltage EF from a random point of resistances 5-4 and 5-5. Next, voltage waveforms of respective lead wires A-G are shown by VA-VG and the optimum winding value of winding 7 depends upon the state of waveform VC, but when the number of winding of coil 3-2 is one-third to three times those of 1st high-tension coil 3-1 and 3rd high-tension coil 3-3, it is 10-30% of the number of winding of coil 3-2. Then, waveform Vc shows pulses dropping extremely when fly-back pulse VCP is generated, but winding 7 corrects this dropping pulse into a flat voltage as shown by waveform VN'.
