PURPOSE:To simply and surely damp the vibration of a plunger, by filling a high- molecular viscous fluid of speed and displacement dependence in a chamber provided in the internal opening of a vibration-proof protective film member and by causing a relatively displaced plunger to go into the viscous fluid. CONSTITUTION:A vibration insulating device 100 comprises two coupling members 120, 130, a vibration-proof protective film member 110 which elastically connects the coupling members to each other, and a high-molecular viscous fluid 140. A support rod 122 is secured on the central part of the flat plate 121 of the co..upling member 120. A head 124 of large surface area is provided on the tip of a plunger 123 on one end of the support rod 122 and a screw rod 125 for fixation is provided on the other end of the support rod 122. When the vibration-proof protective film member 110 which connects a flat plate 131 and an auxiliary plate 121 to each other is shaped, an internal opening 111 is provided. The high-molecular viscous fluid 140, which has speed and displacement dependence, is filled in the internal opening 111. The drastic movement of the plunger 123 is limited by the solidifying action of the viscous fluid 140.
