Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct fuel supply amount corresponding to suction air amount and thereby to enhance the reliability of a control mechanism by changing the pressure of supplied fuel according to the operating condition of an engine such as the cooling water temperature. CONSTITUTION:With air sucked in through an air cleaner 1, an air amount detector 4 generates an AC voltage signal having a frequency proportional to the air velocity or the like, and a microcomputer 7 generates a driving pulse row formed from the electrical signal. A solenoid valve 8 is opened and closed in synchronism with the pulse row. A valve 10d opens on the increase in the fuel pressure inside a first chamber 10b and closes on the decrease of the fuel pressure, so as to keep the fuel pressure nearly constant, and the fuel thus conditioned in pressure is fed to the solenoid valve 8.
