Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a constitution simple and compact, and obtain two kinds of velocity for a single motor, by transmitting the rotation of a rotor to rolling members through an inner race, fixing one of an outer race and a retainer on a casing and picking out a decelerated output from the other. CONSTITUTION:A rotor comprises a magnet 13 and a yoke 14. One end of the yoke is secured on the inner race 3 of a ball bearing. A stator comprises a coil 16 and a yoke 17 which is secured on a casing 18. An outer race 2 is secured on the upper plate 18 a of the casing 18. An output shaft 20 is tightly fitted in a flange 19 secured on a retainer for rolling menbers 4. The output shaft 20 extends through a bearing housing 21 provided on the casing 18 and supported on bearings 21, 22. According to this constitution, rotation is transmitted from the inner race 3 to the rolling members 4, which roll while performing planet motion. As a result, the flange 19 and the output shaft 20 are decelerated and rotated together.
