Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the adhesion of contaminative matters and hinder the deterioration in the function of a film for a long time, by utilizing the flow of a fluid in a pipe to cntinuously bring a soft substance into contact with the surface of the film.
CONSTITUTION: The pressure of water to be treated is raised to a prescribed level by a water feeder including a conduit 1 equipped with a pump P. The water is passed through a rotary soft substance feed/recovery unit N and another conduit 2 and conducted to the permeated film means of a tubular film module F. A soft substance D housed in the unit N is pushed out by a fluid and passed through the conduit 2 so that the soft substance is discharged together with a concentrated liquid from another end through a pipe 3 while the surface of a permeated film M in the film module F is rub-washed by the soft substance and the fluid. At that time, the water permeates through the surface of the film M and is drained to the outside through a conduit 7. The soft substance D discharged through the pipe 3 stays in the unit N. The separated concentrated liquid is drained through another pipe 4. Next, rub-washing is effected in the same way by rotating the unit N by 180°.
