Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently separate and recover both and permit their reuse by opposedly disposing two electrodes, beforehand providing magnets on the back side of one electrode and letting the mixture of magnetic powder and granule and non- magnetic powder and granule scatter between these electrodes.
CONSTITUTION: A belt 14 which is conductive and functions as an electrode is put on between rollers 15, 16 and plural magnets 17 are disposed on the back side thereof by alternating their magnetic poles. On the upper side the bolt 14, a belt 18 which is conductive and functions as an electrode is put on among rollers 19, 20, 21. The mixture of the developer, etc. composed of the carrier C composed of magnetic powder and granule and the toner T composed of non-magnetic powder and granule used for electrophotographic process is carried between the belts 14, 18. When voltage is applied between the both belts 14, 18, the carrier C is conveyed on the belt 14, and is recovered into a recovery pack 23. The toner T separated and deposited on the belt 18 is recovered in a recovery pack 22.
