Abstract

PURPOSE: To guide a hull to be guided to the center in a dock by mounting two sheaves at a movable carrier at both sides in the dock, arranging wires via the sheaves at both sides of the hull, and moving the carrier by a winch.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided a pair of rails 24, a set of two towing winches 25, and a wire winding winch 26 at both side stages 23 of a hull accommodation compartment in a dock 21. a carrier 28 is connected at both ends thereof to the winches 24, respectively with two sheaves 29a, 29b provided thereat. A sheave 31 is attached to each of both sides of a hull 30 to be guided. A wire 33 is wound around each of the sheaves 29a, 31 and 29b to the winch 26. When introducing the hull 30 into the dock, the winch 25 is driven to allow the carrier 28 to move on the rails 24. Thus, the hull 30 is guided through each of the sheaves 29a, 31 and 29b to the center in the dock.
