Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the long stability of a tank lorry by pivotally securing the tank end to a subframe at one end at a supporting shaft perpendicularly crossing the center line of the tank and at the other at a universal joint member to thereby absorb the twisting deformation of a chassis frame.
CONSTITUTION: Outriggers 6, 7 are attached to the front and the rear ends of a tank in a tank lorry under the tank body 4. The tank body 4 is pivotally secured to a subframe 2 via a supporting shaft 10 at the rear outrigger 6. A beam member 11 is arranged at the position where the front outrigger 7 corresponds to the subframe 2. Elastic members are interposed in position at the pivotally supporting position of the trunnion 12 as a universal joint to the subframe 2 and at the pivotally supporting position of a hinge bracket 13 and a beam member 11 to a supporting shaft 14 to respond to the twisting strength applied in different direction from the rotating direction to thereby absorb the various vibrating energies of a frame 1.
