Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain the pressing force and driving speed of a plunger at correct values by setting the maximum oil pressure in the hydraulic circuit of the plunger drive part to an arbitrary high value within the safety margin and stopping the feeding of oil when the resin pressure in the die reaches the preset value.
CONSTITUTION: A relief valve 10 is so adjusted that the maximum oil pressure of the hydraulic circuit from a pump 7 up to a cylinder 8 becomes the arbitrary high pressure in the safety margin for a plunger 13 and die 2. On the other hand, resin pressure P is detected with the pressure sensor 1 connected to the die and is compared with the valve P0 having beforehand been set in a comparator 5 so that when it becomes P=P0 a solenoid value 6 is de-energized. Even if with this constitution sliding resistance and the viscosity of resin 12 change and the reaction acting upon the plunger increases, the oil pressure difference between the inlet side and outlet side of a flow control valve 11 is sufficient and therefore the driving speed of the plunger is maintained always at a correct value.
