Abstract
PURPOSE: To secure an assured operation of the circuit with reduction of the lowering of the detection sensitivity as well as the noise effect through a simple constitution by extracting furthermore the color decision signal via the signal which is obtained by extracting the color decision signal with the vertical pulse along with detection of amplitude.
CONSTITUTION: In the circuit which supplies the SECAM chrominance subcarrier signals through terminal 1 and delivers color difference signals R-Y, G-Y and B-Y through terminals 11, 12 and 13 respectively, the phase decision is given to chrominance signal switch circuit 5 via the color decision signal sent from color decision circuit 16. Circuit 16 extracts the chrominance subcarrier signal through 1st gate circuit 18 and via vertical pulse (b), and only B-Y color decision signal (e) is drawn out from B-Y color difference signal (a) through 2nd gate circuit 22 and via signal (d) underwent the amplitude detection to be delivered. In this case, switch circuit 25 does not operate, and the circuit continues the normal state. In case the circuit receives the signals excepting those of the SECAM-system and circuit 5 has a malfunction, circuit 22 delivers no output. And circuit 25 operates to generate the voltage to reset circuit 5 to the normal operation.
