Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the normal operation for the push-pull circuit of the output step by giving control to both the base potential of the transistor which supplies the signal and the base potential of the transistor of the next step. CONSTITUTION:The amplifier circuit consists of emitter follower transistor 12, Tr14 and 15 forming a differential amplifier, Tr22 forming a preamplifier, Tr25 and 26 forming a complementary Tr, and others. In such amplifier circuit, the base of Tr12 is connected to input terminal 2 through resistance 7, and the emitter is connected to the base of Tr14 via backward diode 10. In case the negative excessive signal is applied to terminal 2, the forward collector-base current of Tr12 is supplied through resistance 7. Thus the base potential is controlled to the lower level than the collectorpotential as well as heighten the base potential of Tr14 with a level shift equivalent to the forward voltage amount of diode 10. As a result, Tr14 is never saturated, and accordingly the nonconductive state or insufficient driving is never given to Tr22 and 26. And therefore, no abnormal output waveform is produced.
