PURPOSE:To obtain excellent color video quality, by forming three color TV signals without handling subcarrier chroma signal and simplifying the recording and reproducing unit. CONSTITUTION:The line sequential signals R1, B2, G3, R4 and G1, R2, R3, G4 are fed to the signal selection circuits 3, 4 via the signal input terminals 1, 2 at the same time, and with the output from the gate pulse generation circuit 16, the sequence signal at odd number and that of even number are respectively fed to the signal memory circuits 5, 6 and 7, 8 with separation. The signal of the circuts 5, 6 and 7, 8 is read out at the addition circuits 13, 14 with the clock of the clock pulse gate circuit 9, 10 and 11, 12 to output the loop signal of two lines selected in ring. The output of the circuits 13, 14 is fed to the addition circuit 15 to output the color TV signals R1, G1, B2, R2, G3, B3, R4... at the output of the circuit 15. In addition at the circuit 15, the output of the circuit 14 is timingly delayed and addition is made for the missing signal of H/2 period outputted by the circuit 13 so that it is burried.
