Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a resin composition which consists of amino resin(s), is able to clean all kinds of metallic molds such as those of complicated structure and large- sized ones, and ensures that the molded thermosetting resin produce obtained by molding after the cleaning is excellent in apperance, luster, and mold-releasing property. CONSTITUTION:A titled composition consists of amino resin(s) selected from the group of (A) a co-condensation resin of melamine and phenol or urea, and (B) a mixture of melamine resin(s) and phenol resin(s). The co-condensation resin (A) may for example be a melamine-phenol co-condensation resin formed by co-condensation of triazines (e.g. melamine) with phenols, formaldehyde, or the like, or a melamine-urea co-condensation resin formed by co-condensation of triazines (e.g. melamine) with urea or the like. The composition may contain pulverized mineral(s) such as corundum, magnesium oxide, or silicon carbide in addition to the amino resin(s).
