Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the distortion component by detecting the distortion component contained in the acoustic output which is radiated from the speaker unit and also providing the feedback control system using the detection output signal. CONSTITUTION:Microphone 6 is provided to the side surface of speaker unit 1, and this output is supplied to equivalent circuit 7. The output of circuit 7 is supplied to terminal 4a on one side of comparison arithmetic circuit 4, and the original signal is applied to terminal 4b on the other side to perform the substraction. And this output is applied to terminal 3b of signal addition circuit 3. Circuit 3 adds and mixes the distortion component from circuit 4 to the original signal supplied to terminal 3a in the opposite polarity in order to decrease the distortion component of the original signal. In such way, the distortion component caused by the nonlinearity of the speaker unit can be eliminated, thus improving the sound quality.
