Abstract

PURPOSE:To perfectly carry out one side plating, by closely adhering the steel belt on the roll having negative crown surface and dipping in plating bath by half and passing through the plating bath, on occasion of plating the steel belt in fused Zn plating bath. CONSTITUTION:The sink roll 5 having negative crown surface, is arranged in the nonoxidative atmosphere plating vessel 1 put in fused Zn 6, so as rotating axis of the roll 5 to be placed at a little upper part from the surface of the bath 6. The steel belt 4 is contacted with the surface of the roll 5 and is passed through the bath 6. Both tip end of winding part of the belt 4 to the roll 5, is closely adhered on the outer circumference face of both end parts of the roll 5 by the grant of tension and negative crown shape of roll outer circumference and permeation of the bath 6 between contacting face of the roll 5 and the belt 4, is surely prevented forming sealed part on both side. Accordingly, the steel belt plated Zn only on one side, is able to obtain easily.
