Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an aluminum alloy material decreased in grain boundary and in generation of pitting, by flattening cold working and recrystallization heat treatment of the aluminum alloy, then by specifying the grain size.
CONSTITUTION: After cold treatment, e.g., strong rolling or drawing, an Al alloy is heated to be recrystallized, then the grain size is made not smaller than 100μ. The Al alloy manufactured by this method has corrosion resistance excellent more than that of generally available Al alloy of fine grain size.
