Abstract
PURPOSE:To make both dimensions and weight small and both voltage and current large to some extent by connecting a number of secondary batteries in parallel, charging them from a primary battery, connecting these secondary batteries in series, and applying voltage to a load. CONSTITUTION:A number of secondary batteries B1-B6 are connected in series by closing the switch SW1 and voltage is applied to the load Z from such serially connected secondary batteries B1-B6. When a number of these secondary batteries B1-B6 are connected in parallel by opening the switch SW1 and closing the swtich SW2, charging is made from the primary battery E through the resistor R and the diodes D1-D6.
