Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to charge with various battery voltages by constructing to produce a plurality of voltages and by shifting a charging circuit to the specified voltage when a storage battery is inseted into two cell installation holes and one of these holes and preventing the battery from being inserted into the other installation holes. CONSTITUTION:Diodes 10a and 10b are respectively connected to two terminals having different secondary output voltages for a transformer 9. The cathods are respectively connected to charging terminals 12a and 12b through a change-over unit 11. The change-over unit 11 is so constructed to allow movable contacts 13a and 13b to switch on or switch off fixed contacts 14a and 14b with a rod 15. When one movable contact 13a is placed contact into the fixed contact 14a, the tip of the rod 15 is projected to the other cell installation hole. Two cells 16a and 16b can not be inserted at the same time. This constitution makes it possible to charge a plurality of batteries having different battery voltages.
