Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable mass production of a thin battery with excellent liquid leakageproofness which has a thickness of less than 1mm by providing a package member consisting of materials to which ultraviolet rays are transmitted in the sealing sections of negative and positive cans and sealing it with ultraviolet thermosetting type resin. CONSTITUTION:The outer frames 8 and 9 are created by molding such transparent plastic and glass as transmit ultraviolet rays, for example, acrylic or polyamide resin and the battery cans 10 and 11 are created by molding conductive materials. Subsequently, the battery can 10 is pressed in the outer frame 8, the positive flux 1 inserted in the battery can 10, and the separator 4 is put on it. Then, the battery can 11 is pressed in the outer frame 9 and the negative flux 2 or electrode member 12 such as lithium, zinc, etc.. After the electrolyte 3 is injected, the ultraviolet thermosetting type resin 13 is supplied on the mating surface of the outer frames 8 and 9. After that, a thin battery is formed by irradiating ultraviolet rays on this section and thermosetting the ultraviolet thermosetting type resin 13.
