Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out a fluometric quantative analysis of amino acid, peptide or the like easily with high sensitivity and accuracy by using a specific salt of aminonaphthalene sulfonamide. CONSTITUTION:The sample to be examined is subjected to fluometric analysis using as a reagent sodium N-chloro-1-dimethylaminonaphthalene-5-sulfonamide (DNS-NCl.Na). More particularly, the sample to be examined is added to a methanol solution (concentration of about 0.01% or more) of DNS-NCl.Na, and the mixture solution is agitated and heated at about 60 deg.C for about 20 minutes. Then, the mixture solution is cooled for about 3 minutes in an ice bath. Thereafter, generated fluorescent light is measured under an excitation wavelength of 345nm, and fluorescence waveform of 515nm.
