Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve safety by lowering the surface temperature of an exhausting pipe and also to improve the combustion efficiency by raising the temperature of the intake pipe by a method wherein the external periphery of the exhaust pipe is enclosed by the intake pipe.
CONSTITUTION: An intake air 16 is sucked by an intake fan 7 to admit into an intake chamber 4 from section 21a of an intake/exhaust pipe 21 through an intake port 23. The exhaust gas after combustion is passing through a heat exchanger 9, and becomes the exhaust gas 17 to be exhausted to the outside by an exhaust fan 8 from the exhaust tube 22 by passing through an exhaust pipe 14, an exhaust chamber 5, an exhaust port 25, and section 21b of the intake/exhaust pipe 21. In this case, since the exhaust pipe 21b is enclosed by the intake pipe 21a, the heat developed in the high temperature exhaust pipe can be absorbed by the low temperature intake pipe. Besides, the low temperature intake pipe 21a allows to raise the temperature of the supplying air by the heat developed in the high temperature exhaust pipe 21b to improve the combustion efficiency.
