Abstract

PURPOSE: To completely prevent a steam condenser from freezing, effectively utilize waste heat and prevent noises from going out from a powered fan.
CONSTITUTION: The air-cooled steam condenser 7 is provided in an exhaust wind tumnel 10. The powered fan 8 is installed under the condenser. A suction wind passage 9 for the powered fan 8 is U-bent. An external air inlet opening 11 is provided at the side of the suction wind passage 9 facing the external air and an exhaust suction opening 14 is provided through a suction/exhaust wind tunnel partition wall 13 to keep constant the temperature of mixed gas sucked into the powered fan 8. Thereby, the temperature of the air supplied to the condenser 7 is controlled and the waste heat of high-temperature exhaust gas is effectively utilized. The noises of the powered fan 8 are prevented by the U-bent suction wind passage 9 from going out of the external air inlet opening 11
