Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent skim or suction of paint film, by using a specified undercoat paint, when coating the metal material with undercoat liquid paint film and top coat powder paint film by two-coat, one-bake painting.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid paint of which condensation product amount generated at the time of baking is, for instance, less than 17 wt.% of the total solid matter weight of the paint (preferably 4 to 13 wt.%) is used as the undercoat coloring liquid paint. This liquid paint is prepared by dissolving or dispersing the resin component consisting of 100 parts of resin, for instance, made of 3 to 12% of hydroxy alkyl methacrylate, 20 to 97% of acrylic ester, and 0 to 68% of other copolymerizable monomer, and 2 to 10 parts of melamine resin, in solvent together with pigment and thermoplastic resin.
