Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the corrosion at the boundary part by remelting the boundary part of base metal and alloy formed on the base metal of steel through deposition filling of heat-resistant-, corrosion-resistant- and abrasion-resistant alloy by a GAS method, by TIG arc.
CONSTITUTION: Heat-resistant-, corrosion-resistant- and abrasion-resistant alloy is deposition-filled by a GAS method on a base metal 1 to provide a deposited layer 2, thence only the boundary part of the base metal 1 and deposited layer 2 is remelted by TIG arc (or only the boundary part is re-deposited by a TIG method by using a TIG deposition rod). By the above-mentioned operation, the carbon in the carburized layer formed near the boundary part is distributed over the entire part of the re-molten part A (or re-deposited part B), whereby the boundary corrosion is prevented. Here, ordinary stainless steel such as SUS316L is used for the base metal and Co-base alloy (e.g., Fe; 3% or more, Cr; 28%, W; 4%, C; 1%, Co; balance) is used for the alloy to be deposition-filled.
