Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a level control circuit which features a wide control range with no increment of the signal distortion by forming part of plural number of level control circuits connected vertically into the delay type. CONSTITUTION:The input signal sent through terminal T1 is applied to amplifier 4 via attenuator (ATT) 1 comprising transistors TrQ1 and Q2, resistance R2, ATT2 comprising TrQ3 and Q4 plus pre-amplifier 3 comprising TrQ11-Q18. And diode-connected TrQ23 and variable resistance R23 for level control are connected to the current Miller circuit consisting of TrQ21 and Q22. With variation of the value of resistance 23, current I27 of the current Miller circuit consisting of TrQ26 and Q27 varies, and accordingly collector current I28 and I29 of TrQ28 and Q29 vary each. The amount of attenuation is controlled for ATT1 and 2 by I27 and I29, and current I29 controls the amplification factor of amplifier 3. The level control of ATT2 and amplifier 3 feature the delay type with the proper setting of resistances R22 and R25, thus securing the special characteristics as a whole.
