PURPOSE:To secure the response of the liquid drop jet and to obtain the uniform diameter of the drop constantly, and at the same time, to stabilize the liquid drop jet in a short period of time, by arranging the means for the absorption of the liquid in the adjacent of the orifice. CONSTITUTION:Absorption inlet 40 having a narrow hole like a slit is provided nearby orifice 39 so that the ink liquid film near orifice 39 will not disturb the jet liquid drops. Pressure reduction chamber 43 absorbs the ink in the surrounding of the jet orifice so as to stabilize the ink jet by unifying the condition of the wetting due to the ink present at the circumference of the jet orifice. Absorption inlet 40 can be installed almost all region of the surroundings of the orifice 39 not limiting to a part of it.
