Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the constantly-stabilized discharge of liquid drips by providing the bent part of the inside electrode of an electromechanical transducing element on the side of a discharge orifice in the recording head adapted to a device of drop- on-demand type. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical member 2 is equipped with an end part 5 on the side of a flow-in port, a liquid-injecting part 7 provided with the discharge orifice 6 and a pressure-generating part 8. As for the electromechanical transducing element 3, the inside electrode 10 is provided on the inside surface of an electromechanical transducing body 9, while an outside electrode 11 is provided on the outside surface thereof, and the inside electrode 10 is turned back at one end part of the transducing body 9 and a part thereof is pulled outside of the transducing body layer 9 in such a manner that it is separated from the outside electrode 11 by an electrically-insulated area 14, whereby the laying of a lead electrode 12 is facilitated and the liquid drips are discharge in a stable manner.
