Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the deposition structure of superior strength and toughness by forming the weld zone of the base metals composed of 9Cr-Mo base steel by the alloy of the specific composition. CONSTITUTION:In using the 9Cr-Mo base steel of superior heat resistance and corrosion resistance as vessel material for chemical industry or nuclear power industry, the weld zone is formed by the deposited alloy of the composition composed of C; 0.03-0.10%, Si; 0.05-0.80%, Mn; 0.30-1.50%, Mo; 1.0-3.5%, Ni, 0.2-2.0%, Cr; 8.0-10.0% and the rest of Fe and unavoidable impurities such as P and S, then weldability is improved and the strength and toughness of the structure are considerably improved.
