Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the presence of a level difference at a full-wave rectifying circuit due to the adverse affection of the variation of a bias voltage with a simple circuit configuration by supplying standard voltage from a power supply circuit to the non-inverting terminal of an arithmetic amplifier having no offset control terminal.
CONSTITUTION: A ternary waveform input voltage Vin having an offset voltage is full-wave rectified via diodes D1, D2. On the other hand, the voltage from a power supply V(+) is applied to an operational amplifier OA2. The positive-polarity voltage obtained at the output terminal is applied to one terminal of a variable resistor VR2. Simultaneously, the positive-polarity voltage from the operational amplifier OA2 is applied through a resistor R5 to the inverting terminal of an operational amplifier OA3, which thereupon produces a negative-polarity voltage output. The voltage from the operational amplifier OA3 is supplied through the resistor VR2 to the non-inverting terminal of the amplifier OA1. The full-wave rectified voltage via the diodes D1, D2 is offset controlled at the amplifier OA1, which thus produces an output voltage Vout at its output terminal.
