Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure the steady control for the plant state as well as enable the on- line maintenance by supplying the signal of the duplicated detector to the control system via the low value selection circuit and then detecting the fault of the detection signal based on the low value selection output.
CONSTITUTION: The detection pressure or the like of the plant state quantity due to detectors 1 and 2 is supplied to the control system via change-over switches 3 and 4, low value selectors 5 and 6, etc. and after addition of 1/2 gain through adder 7. On the other hand, the detection output from detectors 1 and 2 receives the subtraction operation through subtractors 8 and 9 with the signal sent from adder 7, and comparators 10 and 11 generate the OFF signals when both detectors 1 and 2 are normal and then generate the ON signals according to fault detectors 1 and 2. Thus the alarm is given to the fault occurrence. In such case, faulty detectors 1 and 2 are cut off through operation of switches 3 and 4 with no outut generated from detectors 1 and 2. But bias voltage VB larger than the detection output is applied to circuits 5 and 6. Thus both the inspection and maintenance can be given to the detector with no fault occurrence and under the on-line state.
